DIOR BOUTIQUE´S HISTORY
Peter Marino mixes history with the present and heritage with modernity. Therefore, the architect uses a hundred different materials in the extensive Dior flagship store. Such as stone and fabrics with a white scheme where the materials add color. Additionally, with the work of stucco, the boutique has some texture.
In this eternal movement between the old and the new, the architect created a contemporary layout that brings together vintage elements. Such as carpentry of the old Dior boutique; Versailles parquet, and the pale pink toile de Jouy.Nonetheless, Peter Marino is considered the best haute couture shopping designer and has been a constant help in the renovation of the Dior boutique. The old elements remain essential to create the luxury world of Dior.
