Danny Amendola is a professional athlete, a design lover, and a model. Today we get an exclusive tour through his house!
Danny Amendola is a design enthusiast and he is in love with his Austin Home. For his place, we can find, simple decor with retro patterns, dark brown wood, and sleek shapes. He got his inspiration while he was in Palm Springs. He fell in love with the mid-century modern home of Bing Crosby, and he knew at that moment what he wanted for his house.
So let’s talk a little bit more about the house. We begin with the bar, which has a pendant light from Rejuvenation, and a custom-built bar by Dan Murphy (of Blue Horse). He did also several design renovations in Amendola’s Home.
Such a peaceful space, the table, and bench were acquired in the same place, RH. Then, the geometric mirrors are from Four Hands Austin.
This is the living room, where comfort and style reign. This is almost a majestic spot, because of the Muhammed Ali wallpaper, which is from Flavor Paper. Then we must take closer attention to the artwork on the wall where we can see Brigitte Bardot. Amendola got it from Art Basel Miami.
In here, Dan Murphy was responsible for the custom-built shelves. Then we can the pendant lamps from Rejuvenation and the refrigerator from Sub-Zero. The most beautiful detail about this kitchen is the natural light.
This is the primary bedroom of Danny Amendola, which has an amazing view. This room includes a bedside table and a mirror from RH.
Last, but not least, the bathroom, which is a reflection of mid-century modern design. The lighting fixture belongs to West Elm and the artwork from House of Spoils.
This is a small part of the outdoor design because it also has a pool. He got the idea from a Soho House in Miami. He wanted a sofa and daybeds by the pool, in order to make it a comfortable space.
